Google goes gong!!

I watched Kandasamy a couple of days back. Got reminded of Anniyan right from the beginning. Nothing worthwhile mentioning in the movie except for Vikram's acting and singing talents :) I never had a dislike for Shreya till I watched this movie. Time pass movie for sure but no match for the hype created before the movie was released. Google blacked out for sometime yesterday and it was a total shock/surprise. I thought my internet connection let me down when I couldn't accessmy gmail account. But after checking the connectivity, realised gmail was at fault!!

WORLD ISLANDS..

Yesterday, we were discussing something about the Sharjah Cricket ground and this came up. Ashok explained to me that there is this place called the WORLD ISLANDS in Dubai and indirectly proved once again about my ignorance towards whats happening in the outside world. I never knew anything about it though I vaguely remember seeing it on a news channel(not very sure about it). I think it looks really cool and it would be awesome to own a country but ultimately, its all about money and fame, both of which go hand in hand. All this put aside, WORLD ISLANDS in DUBAI look stunningly good and the google images uploaded on the web add to its glory.

Cut the crap!

People are opportunistic and selfish. By saying that, I dont include the few exceptions out there. Back to the majority of the people who think only about themselves. I know that we are all human and we have our own flaws to live with. But most people pretend to be nice and sweet to someone only to get their work done. Once their job is done, they would have disappeared off the face of the earth. The next time they make an appearance would be when they are in need of something. Unmindful of the fact that they are no longer looked upon with respect or love, they continue the sugary sweet talks once again to assure that their necessity is taken care of by the person who offers help. My point is- "Its ok to talk to someone only when there is a reason/help is needed but there is no need for those generous shameless words of love and care if those aren't coming from the bottom of the heart."
P.S. I surprised myself by writing this because it has been a long time since any of the above mentioned incidents or incidents similar to that happened in my life. But just felt like blogging about it.[:D]
